Introducing…The New Beacon House Innkeepers, Meet: Noah & Charlotte Gunnell!

Meet the new Innkeepers, Noah and Charlotte Gunnell – relocated from Portland, OR to The Beacon House Inn! Between the two of them, they have visited over 21 countries and they now look forward to exploring the East Coast and sharing your travels with you! They have a unique perspective on the needs of all kinds of travelers, having traveled from Costa Rica to India, and many places in between. Guest houses and Bed and Breakfasts have always been their favorite kind of accommodations and now they get to make The Beacon House yours!

Noah was born in Louisville, KY and moved to England with his family at the age of eight. In 1991, Noah returned to the U.S. and later obtained a BA Fine Art/Photography from San Francisco State University. He has a strong background in hospitality, including employment at Yosemite National Park and Spanish Peaks Resort.

Charlotte is a native Oregonian, and has worn many hats over the years. Past titles have included restaurant manager at Doe Bay Resort and event coordinator for a full-service catering company. About seven years ago, Charlotte moved in a different direction, and became a commercial property manager for a major real estate owner/developer.

Prior to becoming Innkeepers, Noah and Charlotte resided in a sleepy Portland neighborhood with their two cats, Rubi and Snowman. They met, became engaged, and then in 2011, married on the same spot – in front of the Moreland Theater. In their spare time they enjoy photography, leisurely bike rides, making new friends, breakfast for any meal, camping, cooking, local events and of course, travel.

Noah and Charlotte look forward to warmly welcoming you to The Beacon House Inn Bed & Breakfast and ensuring your stay is only the best!

Please keep an eye out for blog updates as they explore Carolina Beach, North Carolina!
