The Beacon House Inn provides an intimate setting for you and your guests in the Bed and Breakfast or the Beach Cottage Rentals. The Inn is especially well suited to be used as a home base for bridal parties and families of the bride and groom.

The Beacon House Inn is comprised of 7 bedrooms with Queen beds and private baths in the Bed and Breakfast. Two of the Inn's Bed and Breakfast rooms are suites, which provide additional room and comfort for lengthier stays or bridal preparations. Also available are Beach Rental Cottages - one 2 bedroom Beach Rental Cottage and one 3 bedroom Beach Rental Cottage; both cottages are ideal for families traveling with children or pets.You can rent any combination of lodging for your event and choose packages that include daily full southern breakfasts (for guests staying in the Bed and Breakfast), private dinners or on site catering from an outside vendor.

The Beach Elopement Package

Ready to say “I Do”? The Beach Elopement Package is designed for just the two of you. Perfect for the couple seeking an intimate ceremony and a quick getaway, and for budget minded brides!

$500 + tax (cost of lodging and gratuity are not included, a two night minimum stay is required).

The Beach Wedding Package

This wedding package is designed to provide you with a memorable and romantic union in an intimate, simple setting. . A beach wedding or vow renewal ceremony with only those closest to you will allow your day to be stress free! Let us take care of all of the details – from the “I Do’s” to the flowers to the celebratory toast!

2012 Beach Wedding Package pricing is $999 Sept 15^th – April 30^th, Monday-Friday

Weekend weddings add $200 (holiday weekends excluded).

Holiday weekend & summer weddings, May 1^st – Sept 15^th, add $350

Beach Honeymoon Package

A Beach Honeymoon that is designed to be stress free!  You're married! Now head to the beach, and we'll provide the backdrop for romance and relaxation after your wedding day. Beach Honeymoon Package includes:

• Two 1 hr Swedish Massages (can be done as 2 singles or one couples)
• A bottle of wine - red, white or sparkling
• Floral arrangement upon arrival, in room
• Beach souvenir selected by Innkeepers
  
• Reservations and $50 voucher for dinner at our favorite local restaurant

$350 (plus the cost of your suite or room) Package must be paid in full 30 days in advance of check in date. Package fees are Non-Refundable with less than 30 days notice.

Overnight Guests: We can accommodate 14-24 guests using the Inn
and 2 cottages. The Inn itself can sleep 14.

Common Areas: The Inn has 2 front verandas, which can be used for intimate dinners for guests staying at The Beacon House Inn. The dining room can also accommodate smaller gatherings such as lunches and showers.

Costs: Room rates are as listed for specific dates and there will be an additional charge for any special service your group requires.

The Beach: We are across the road from the beach, you just have to walk out the front door, to the left and walk across the wooden "walk-over" to get your feet in the sand. Or you can sit on the front porch - with a little breeze the sand will come to you!
Location: We are 20 minutes south of Wilmington located on Pleasure Island. Coming into Wilmington on either 40, 74/76, or 17 - one road leads to us! College Rd, turns into Carolina Beach Road, which brings you to Snow's Cut Bridge and right into Carolina Beach.

Cooking: We provide basic kitchen utensils in the Beach Rental Cottages, and guests are welcome to cook in any of them. However,
cooking is not allowed in the Inn's Main house.

We provide a full, southern breakfast each morning for guests staying in the bed and breakfast. Sometimes we are also able to accommodate breakfast requests for Cottage guests for an additional charge. Call for details.
Other meals can be catered such as receptions, rehearsal dinners, or lunches.

You do not have to be a North Carolina Resident to be married here, but you do need a license. It may be issued by the Register of Deeds office in any county in North Carolina. Once issued, the marriage license is valid for 60 days. There is no waiting period, physical exam, or blood test required.

In New Hanover County, Marriage License Applications are taken from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday at the Register of Deeds office located at 216 N. Second St. Room 2 in downtown Wilmington. (Call 910-798-7758 for information).

The fee for a marriage license is currently $60. Certified copies are $10 each. All three of the following forms of identification are required for both the Bride and Groom.

• Valid driver's license or DMV picture ID card
• Certified copy of birth certificate
• Valid Social Security card
• All applicants under 18 years of age must have parental consent.
• If you have been divorced in the last 60 days
  you should bring your divorce papers.

Carolina Beach allows weddings on the beach. You are permitted to set up chairs, tents, anything that is temporary. When finished, you must clean up the area and remove all items and trash. Be sure to leave enough room for emergency vehicles to pass through. Parking is scarce unless you use the pay lots. The town also has a gazebo on the Boardwalk near the beach, which can be rented.

Kure Beach allows weddings on the Beach. However, no chairs or tents are permitted. Parking is scarce. If more information is needed, please call the police department at 910-458-7586.

Fort Fisher Historic Park has a gazebo on the ocean which is available for weddings. Please call 910-458-5538 for availability. A $250 donation is requested for the use of the Gazebo. A $50 deposit is needed for signs showing the Gazebo is closed to the Public for a private wedding. There is free parking at this location.

Fort Fisher State Park located next to the Aquarium is also a possibility. Once you pass the "rocks" at the Ft. Fisher Historic Park, you are on State Park land. To be married along this strip of beach, there is a Fee and you need to fill out a Special Activity form which is available at the State Park.
