Michael’s has defended their championship at the “Great Chowder Cook-off” in Newport, Rhode Island. Michael’s Seafood in Carolina Beach, N.C., won in the seafood category while Hammerhead Grill in Narragansett, R.I., took second and Tracy’s Clam Shack brought third place bragging rights all the way back to Juneau, Alaska.
Michael’s Seafood hasn’t forgotten its roots.
“We’re competing for the whole state, you know,” said McGowan. “We’re taking the whole state of NC with us. We brought it back to NC and we want to bring it back one more time.”
Well I’d say they did it! A big CONGRATULATIONS to Michael’s Seafood Restaurant.
